This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds or cancellations may be requested for our digital products and subscription plans.

1. Digital Products

Our platform offers digital recipe collections and downloadable content, including but not limited to recipe packs, seasonal collections and curated guides. Because these are digital products that can be accessed or downloaded immediately after purchase, they are generally non-refundable once access has been granted or the content has been downloaded.

1.1 Exceptions for Digital Products

We will consider a refund request for a digital product in the following circumstances:

2. Subscription Plans

Our subscription plans (such as the Weekly Planner Bundle and Annual Chef's Library) are billed on a recurring basis. The following conditions apply to subscription cancellations and refunds:

2.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before your next billing date. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months. You will continue to have access to your subscription content until the end of the paid period.

2.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 14 days of the initial purchase for a full refund, provided that you have not accessed a substantial portion of the content (more than 30 days of content or more than 10 recipes). After this 14-day period, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You will retain access to the subscription content for the remainder of the annual period.

2.3 Free Trials

If a subscription is offered with a free trial period, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without incurring any charge. Failure to cancel before the end of the trial will result in your subscription automatically converting to the paid plan at the applicable rate.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or to cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your full name, email address used for the purchase, the product or subscription name, and the date of purchase
  3. Describe the reason for your refund request as clearly as possible
  4. Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and is typically between 5 and 10 business days from the date we process the refund. We have no control over the processing time of your bank or card issuer.

We reserve the right to withhold a refund if we have reasonable grounds to believe that the refund request is fraudulent, or if the request does not meet the conditions set out in this policy.

5. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly, and in many cases we can address your concern more efficiently than a chargeback process allows. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account and access to our content while the dispute is investigated.

6. Your Rights Under New Zealand Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation. If a product or service we provide fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you may be entitled to a remedy.
